The billiard system consists of a billiard table (two- dimensional domain) and a billiard ball (point-mass). A ball moves straight in a table, and changes its direction at the boundary so that the angle of reflection is equal to the angle of incidence. In this system, a map from one collision point to the next on the boundary is an area-preserving map under an appropriate coordinate. The purpose of this study is to provide conditions about the existence or nonexistence of a billiard map of some ideal billiard tables. In this talk, I will talk about the future direction of my research.
