A comment on a paper of Boris' Iwai Toshihiro 2nd July (Fri) 15:00 In their paper ``Topological Chern indices in molecular spectra, Phys. Rev. Lett., vol.~{\bf 85}, pp. 960-963 (2000)", R. Faure and B. Zhilinskii showed that topological Chern indices are related to the number of rotational states in each molecular vibrational band, by making a simple model. But they did not calculate explicitly the Chern numbers on their model. The aim of this talk is to provide a complete proof by calculating explicitly the Chern numbers of line buldles associated with the model.
