Finite element method and Whitney element

Finite element method is a numerical technique for finding approximate solutions of partial differential equations.This method is based on weighted residual method and triangulation. Whitney elements represent differential forms in the triangulated space.In this talk,I will explain the foundations of finite element method and construction of Whitney elements.
