The spectral methods had classically had their applications on problems which contain periodic or unbounded domains. Here the difficulties using such methods on bounded domains are addressed and a work-around is imposed by the use of potential theory of charged particles. The consequence of this implies using non-equispaced grids for bounded domain. Examples are shown by solving "famous" linear and non-linear equations such as KdV.
