Bifurcations of homoclinic orbits in reversible systems

When dynamical systems which have periodic orbits, homoclinic orbits, first integrals or commutative vector fields are perturbed, they may be persisted or not. In this talk, we prove several theorems giving necessary conditions for their persistence. Moreover, we consider periodically perturbed systems and discuss their relations with the standard Melnikov method which provides sufficient conditions for existence of periodic orbits and homoclinic orbits.
